October 2008 - FORT WAYNE, IN:
Having already invested in excess of $400k of private research funding,
WaveTektronics is now in the final stages for submittal for state grants.
This involves three programs with one being the IED bomb-finder system.
March 2008 - FORT WAYNE, IN: WaveTektronics has been selected to present its IED detection capabilities to the Naval IED Defeat Technology IPT Meeting held at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA. This meeting consists of Government representatives from JIEDDO, and Military Service representatives (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines).
The purpose of this group meeting is on hearing industry IED detection technologies/ capabilities and to perform further market analysis on IED detection capabilities.
