DR. DONALD TAYLOR ANDERSON, PhD.
Sr. Staff Consultant Electrical Engineer

Dr. Anderson is a graduate of Big Spring High School and Attended Howard College, Texas Tech College, The University of Texas, Austin, Arlington State University and the University of Texas at Arlington. After receiving his BSEE he earned an MBA and an MSEE. He received his doctorate from Stamford University. The subject of his dissertation was “Microwave propagation performance at high altitudes in High Atmospheric Pressure zones”.

He served in the U.S. Army Signal Corp and spent most of his active duty assigned to Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe as a communications specialist and inter-service liaison dealing with internal security issues.

Dr. Anderson’s business career included several start-up, technically-oriented businesses utilizing supervisory and control systems based upon wireless technology. He spent a number of years in corporate management with Collins Radio Company, Systems Engineering Division, with emphasis on microwave, satellite and NASA’s manned space program. He later joined the Hewlett-Packard Company as a Sr. Sales Engineer. After several years with HP, Dr. Anderson founded an international engineering service company, Allstate Telecom Engineering, and a manufacturing company dealing with wireless supervisory control and data acquisition systems called Telegauge Systems.

Dr. Anderson served in several Sr. corporate executive positions:

• Vice president sales and general manager of Technicom Systems, a manufacturer of telephone cable pressurization and monitoring systems.
  
  
• Vice president, Telinq Inc. manufacturer of high speed data moldums along with drop and insert DS3 multiplexers.
  
  
• Vice president. Communications Technologies Inc. a multi-product manufacturer of telephone construction and testing equipment.
  
  
• Vice president. Teleprobe Systems a manufacturer of telecommunications test equipment.
  
  
• Harris Corporation for whom he led the negotiations for the acquisition of Teleprobe.
  
  
• He was appointed General manager of Apertus Technologies (formally Lee Data) a high tech company specializing in telephone cable testing and record verification for record purification and data base creation.

In recent years Dr Anderson has owned and operated EMTEX Corporation a commercial electronics and manufacturers representative business in Granbury, Tx. He founded and operated Telegauge Systems Inc. a manufacturing firm specializing in the production of GPSand satellite based hybrid asset monitoring systems. A founder of EMTEX Corp. a supplier of “turnkey” S,C.A.D.A. or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems well as variety of wirelessly controlled switching systems . Dr. Anderson holds several U.S. patents for data collection and processing equipment, these products are now deployed in current wireless communications systems including VHF-FM, HF, Satellite and Fiber Optics Alarm and Monitoring Systems.

He Founded Anderson Research Labs which provides systems engineering and deployment specifications for wireless & wired remote control and interoperability concepts, that will seamlessly switch Voice, Data , Video and Telemetry seamlessly between RF systems, the P.T.S.N. fiber optic networks and Communications Satellites.

Dr. Anderson’s long and distinguished career includes active community service with board membership on Kiwanis International, President Granbury Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Air Force Aux. Civil Air Patrol Mission Pilot for SAR , Educational Advisory Council to the Granbury Independent School District. He was also a faculty member of Tarleton State University School of Communications.
